Dennis Hardy's P90X Review

The P90X Pull Up Bar

I get alot of people asking questions about the P90X Pull Up Bar.  It really is a great piece of equipment and I HIGHLY recommend it for P90X.  Beachbody has recently made a video that shows the p90x pull up bar / chin up bar being installed.  You can click here to see that video.

It’s rated for up to 300 pounds, has 10 hand positions, and fits doorways up to 32″ wide(must have trim).

The p90x pull up bar really is a steal at only $49.95.  You can purchase the P90X pullup bar in the Team Beachbody store by clicking here

Here is a list of other equipment I recommend for P90X.

If you have any questions about the p90x pull up bar or other equipment, supplements, or workout routines…don’t hesitate to ask me about them.

  15. John says:

I’ve never installed a pull-up bar in a doorway before…if I install one, can I still close the door when the bar is not in use?

  16. Diet Abs says:

I don’t see how anyone would fail with that pull up bar. It’s looks easy to use.

  17. Scott says:

    John,

When you take the pull-up bar down from the door frame all that is left are the two metal brackets on the backside of the door. There is nothing to block the door or anything else. very well designed piece of equipment and very sturdy. I have some great photos of my installation in my doorway. I need to post them on my website.

I can HGHLY recommend this product.

  18. Lorraine says:

I have looked at all the pic’s and instructions and my P90X does not rest against the wall (the sides of the door frame)like in the pics. It sticks out just under 2inchs, in other words, I start lifting my weight up on that thing and there goes my wall above the door frame. It is put together correctly, but does not rest properly, has anyone heard of this problem?

  19. Levi says:

That is a nice pullup bar indeed. It looks similar to the Door Gym I’ve seen but with a couple more hand holds.

I’ll have to buy one if I move somewhere without a permanent pullup bar built in.
